Brajendra Nath Seal

Brajendra Nath Seal was an Indian philosopher, educator, and polymath whose work connected Indian philosophical traditions with the history of science. He held the King George V Chair of Philosophy at the University of Calcutta and later served as vice-chancellor of the University of Mysore. His major study, The Positive Sciences of the Ancient Hindus, examined relationships between Hindu philosophical ideas and scientific thought.
