Carlos Cruz-Diez

Carlos Cruz-Diez was a Venezuelan artist and color theorist whose work helped redefine painting as a perceptual, time-based experience. Through series such as Physichromie, Chromosaturation, and Chromointerférence, he explored color as an autonomous phenomenon shaped by light, space, and the viewer’s movement. His works are held in major collections including those of The Museum of Modern Art, Tate, and Centre Pompidou.
