David Hume

David Hume was a Scottish Enlightenment philosopher whose empiricism and skepticism reshaped modern accounts of human nature, knowledge, morality, and religion. His major works include *A Treatise of Human Nature* and the *Enquiries*, while his six-volume *History of England* established him as a prominent historian of his time. Hume also wrote influential essays on economics, politics, and religion, extending his philosophical analysis into public and commercial life.
