Denny Hulme

Denny Hulme was a New Zealand racing driver who won the 1967 Formula One World Championship for Brabham, becoming his country’s first—and still only—F1 champion. He also excelled in Can-Am sports-car racing, winning two drivers’ titles, and later competed in touring cars after retiring from Formula One in 1974. Hulme died during the 1992 Bathurst 1000 after suffering a heart attack while driving.
