Djamaluddin Adinegoro

Djamaluddin Adinegoro was a pioneer of Indonesian journalism who used “Adinegoro” as a pen name. He began his journalistic career with Caya Hindia and later worked with Pewarta Deli, Bintang Timur, and Panji Pustaka. While studying in Germany, he pursued journalism, geography, cartography, and geopolitics, and he managed Pewarta Deli in Medan from 1932 to 1942.
