Eusébio

Eusébio was a Portuguese footballer renowned for his explosive scoring and powerful shooting, spending most of his career with Benfica after beginning in Mozambique. He helped Benfica win the 1961–62 European Cup and earned the 1965 Ballon d’Or. For Portugal, he scored nine goals at the 1966 World Cup, winning the tournament’s Golden Boot as the team finished third; his performances made him one of football’s defining forwards of the 20th century.
