Fred Perry

Fred Perry was an English tennis player who won Wimbledon three times, from 1934 to 1936, and completed a career Grand Slam with his 1935 French Championships victory. He was also the 1929 world table-tennis champion, an unusual achievement that preceded his dominance on the tennis court. After turning professional in 1936, Perry later worked as a tennis commentator and helped establish the Fred Perry sportswear company.
