About Hans von Ohain
Hans von Ohain was a German physicist and aerospace engineer whose work helped establish turbojet aviation. Working with Ernst Heinkel, he developed the HeS 3B engine, which powered the Heinkel He 178 on the first turbojet-powered aircraft flight in 1939.
