Heo Jun

Heo Jun (1539–1615) was a royal physician of Korea’s Joseon dynasty and a leading figure in the development of traditional Korean medicine. His principal achievement was *Dongui Bogam*, a comprehensive medical encyclopedia completed in 1610 and first printed in 1613, which organized medical knowledge and became a foundational Korean medical text.
