Ibn Arabi

Ibn Arabi was an Andalusian Sufi scholar and major Islamic thinker whose writings joined mystical experience with discussions of metaphysics, cosmology, spiritual psychology, and religious practice. His best-known works include *The Meccan Revelations* and *The Bezels of Wisdom*, while his poetry includes *The Interpreter of Yearnings*. Born in Murcia, he spent much of his later life in the eastern Islamic world, and his extensive corpus shaped centuries of Sufi commentary and interpretation.
