Jagadish Chandra Bose

Jagadish Chandra Bose was a Bengali physicist and plant physiologist whose research bridged radio and microwave science with the study of electrical responses in plants. His experimental instruments helped investigate how living organisms respond to external stimuli, while his work in radio science included pioneering detector technologies. In 1917, he founded Bose Institute in Kolkata, an institution devoted to interdisciplinary scientific research.
