Jiebin Zhang

Jiebin Zhang, also known as Zhang Jingyue, was a prominent late-Ming Chinese physician and medical writer from Shanyin, in present-day Shaoxing, Zhejiang. His *Leijing* organized and annotated material from the *Huangdi Neijing*, while *Jingyue quanshu* brought together his views on theory, materia medica, and clinical practice. Zhang emphasized diagnosing underlying patterns rather than treating symptoms in isolation, and his writings became influential reference works in later Chinese medical learning.
