Jin Yuelin

Jin Yuelin was a pioneering Chinese philosopher and logician who helped establish modern logic as a major field of study in China. After founding Tsinghua University’s philosophy department in 1926, he developed a philosophical system engaging both Western thought—especially Bertrand Russell—and Chinese ideas. His principal works include *Logic*, *On Dao*, and *Epistemology*, which shaped Chinese discussions of logic, metaphysics, and knowledge.
