Karl Marx

Karl Marx was a German philosopher, economist, and political theorist whose work examined history, social class, capitalism, and political power. With Friedrich Engels, he wrote The Communist Manifesto (1848), while Das Kapital developed his sustained critique of capitalist political economy. His analyses of alienation, ideology, class struggle, and economic organization became foundational to Marxist social and political thought.
