Leonard Cohen

Leonard Cohen was a Canadian singer-songwriter and poet whose work joined literary precision with music shaped by spiritual, romantic, political, and existential themes. His major albums include *Songs of Leonard Cohen*, *I’m Your Man*, and *The Future*, while “Suzanne” and “Hallelujah” became enduring parts of his songbook. Across a career spanning more than five decades, Cohen also published poetry and prose and earned recognition from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the Canadian honours system.
