Mogobe Ramose

Mogobe Ramose is a South African philosopher whose work has been central to the international study of African philosophy, especially Ubuntu. His book *African Philosophy Through Ubuntu* examines Ubuntu as a philosophical framework linking human identity, ethics, justice, and community. Ramose has also taught and researched philosophy, ethics, and philosophy of law at universities in Southern Africa and Europe, while challenging the assumption that philosophy is exclusively a Western tradition.
