Naresh Goyal

Naresh Goyal is an Indian businessman who founded Jet Airways and helped shape India’s private-airline industry after market liberalization. He began in the travel trade, founded Jetair in 1974 to represent foreign airlines, and later developed Jet Airways into a major full-service carrier. Goyal stepped down from the airline’s board in March 2019 as the heavily indebted carrier entered a severe financial crisis.
