Paul Muldoon

Paul Muldoon is an Irish poet whose highly inventive work blends formal experimentation, verbal wit, and dense literary allusion. Born in County Armagh in 1951, he published major collections including *New Weather*, *Quoof*, and *Moy Sand and Gravel*, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. He also taught at Princeton University, served as Oxford Professor of Poetry from 1999 to 2004, and was poetry editor of *The New Yorker*.
