Rachid Yazami

Rachid Yazami is a Moroccan scientist and engineer whose research helped establish the graphite anode used in commercial lithium-ion batteries. After earning his doctorate at Grenoble Institute of Technology, he pursued battery research at France’s CNRS and later worked on lithium-ion, fluoride-ion, and other advanced energy-storage technologies. He has also contributed to battery innovation through numerous patents, scientific publications, and technology ventures.
