Sabah Fakhri

Sabah Fakhri was a Syrian singer from Aleppo who became a leading interpreter of classical Arabic traditions, especially the muwashshah and qudud Halabiya forms. His powerful tenor voice and command of Arabic maqam helped preserve and popularize Aleppine musical heritage for audiences across the Arab world and beyond. He also lent his name to the Sabah Fakhri Musical Institute, reflecting his lasting influence on traditional Syrian music.
