Sepp Herberger

Sepp Herberger was a German football player and manager who shaped the national team across two eras, serving as Reichs- and Bundestrainer from 1936 to 1964. His defining achievement came in 1954, when West Germany won its first FIFA World Cup under his leadership in what became known as the “Miracle of Bern.” Herberger had also played three international matches for Germany before moving into coaching and later became known for building structured training and player-development systems.
