Sharif Radhi

Sharif al-Radi, also known as Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, was a Baghdad-born Shia scholar and poet active in the late tenth and early eleventh centuries. He is best known as the compiler of *Nahj al-Balagha*, a celebrated collection of sermons, letters, and sayings attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib. His work helped shape the study of Arabic literary eloquence and Shia religious thought.
