Shin Yun-bok

Shin Yun-bok, also known by his pen name Hyewon, was a Korean painter of the late Joseon period whose genre works portray everyday life with refined detail and vivid color. His subjects included ordinary activities, social gatherings, and elegant women, making him one of the most distinctive artists of Joseon genre painting. The National Museum of Korea identifies works attributed to him under the name Hyewon, while noting that attribution can sometimes be uncertain.
