Siavash Alamouti

Siavash Alamouti is an Iranian-American electrical engineer best known for inventing the Alamouti Code, a foundational technique in wireless communications. Developed for multiple-antenna systems, the code improves signal reliability and has been incorporated into major cellular and Wi-Fi standards. Alamouti has also held senior technology roles at Intel, Vodafone, Wells Fargo, and mimik Technology, and received the 2022 Marconi Prize for his contributions to wireless technology.
