Simón Rodríguez

Simón Rodríguez was a Venezuelan educator, philosopher, and political thinker whose work sought to expand public education and make learning accessible across social classes. As a teacher in Caracas, he mentored Simón Bolívar and developed reform proposals challenging colonial educational practices. His ideas later appeared in works such as *Sociedades Americanas en 1828*, which connected education with the creation of independent American republics.
