Sondhi Limthongkul

Sondhi Limthongkul is a Thai media proprietor who founded the Manager newspaper group and became a prominent critic of the government of Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Through Manager and ASTV, he helped turn political broadcasting and print media into major instruments of Thailand’s anti-Thaksin movement. He later led the People’s Alliance for Democracy, a role that placed him at the center of Thailand’s political crisis in the mid-2000s.
