Stacey Abrams

Stacey Abrams is an American politician, lawyer, voting-rights advocate, and author whose public work centers on expanding democratic participation. She served in the Georgia House of Representatives for eleven years, including seven as minority leader, and later founded organizations including Fair Fight Action, Fair Count, and the Southern Economic Advancement Project. Abrams also writes political nonfiction and legal thrillers, bringing civic engagement and questions of power into both her advocacy and fiction.
