Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya is a Belarusian politician and educator who entered national politics during the 2020 presidential election after the arrest of her husband, Siarhei Tsikhanouski. She became a leading figure of Belarus’s democratic movement and heads the United Transitional Cabinet, advocating for political prisoners, civil society, and a peaceful democratic transition. Before politics, she worked as an English teacher and translator.
