Wai Wai Nu

Wai Wai Nu is a Rohingya human rights and women’s rights advocate from Myanmar and a former political prisoner. After her release in 2012, she founded the Women’s Peace Network, which promotes equality, peacebuilding, and legal and civic education for marginalized communities, particularly women in Rakhine State. She also co-founded Justice for Women, providing legal advocacy for victims of gender-based violence.
