You The Rock

YOU THE ROCK★ is a pioneering Japanese hip-hop MC whose career emerged from Tokyo’s formative club scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His 1996 major-label debut, *The Soundtrack ’96*, helped bring Japanese hip-hop to a broader audience, and he has continued collaborating and releasing music across more than three decades.
